For example a public project ,covering area 3693m2, construction area 56000sqm, and windows&facade total area 7980m2, there are 2 glass options:
6LE+12A+6C : U value 1.7W/M2.K.
6+0.3V+6 : U value 0.5W/M2.K.

In most projects,glass is installed vertically.With high performance silver low-E coating,the insulated glass on the vertical facade will decrease the solar energy transmitted the glass,and save air conditioner heating and cooling fees.While if the installation angles affect insulated glass U value because the angle affect inside glass convection.
In winter, U vaue is 50% higher when horizontally installed compared with vertically installed.
Architects are applying more structure types and quite different shaped glass panels, of course glass are not always vertically installed.
As there’s no air inside VIG,so the U value are absolutely steady,whether it’s horizontal or vertical.

The glass soundproof performance is mainly decided by the square meter glass weight,when it comes to vacuum glass times,the concept has been changed.
